Qualifications and Experience
I obtained my undergraduate and M.A. degree in Clinical Psychology at the North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus. Thereafter, I completed my internship at Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital in Pretoria. Here I had the privilege to work with children, adolescents and adults facing various challenges including: ADHD, Conduct Disorder, Autism, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Mood Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Abuse and Personality Disorders. Following my Internship, I completed my Community Service at the Department of Correctional Services, within the West Coast Area. Here I had the opportunity to work with male offenders who were facing various difficulties including: Substance Abuse, Antisocial behavior, and Personality Disorders.
I value lifelong learning and do so by continuing my professional development in various forms.
I am registered with the HPCSA, BHF and a member of the CTPSPG.
